Robert Pattinson’s kiss is a whopping $28,000.00. You heard it right. The Twilight leading man was auctioned in Cannes, France on May 22, 2009 for theAmerican Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) Cinema Against AIDS 2009 Cocktail Party, hosted by Sharon Stone.
ETOnline reported that the bidding went so high that Pattinson was split between two bidders, who each paid €20,000 ($28,000) for a chance to meet, greet and win a kiss on the cheek from the Hollywood hottie.

[Mumbai, India - Thursday, May 14, 2009] – Associated Press’ Ed Donahue reported that police tore down the home of one of the child stars featured in the blockbuster movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.  The 10-year old Azharuddin Ismail, who played Samil in the movie, was awakened by policemen who wielded bamboo stick and threw them out of their shanties.   Azharuddin’s shanty was among the 30 illegally-built shanties in the Garib Nagar slum which were bulldozed by Indian authorities as part of the “crowding control” scheme in the area.

There’s no stopping two Davids of American Idol 7 for their back-to-back concert in Manila set on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds in Pasay City.

Last night, I (with my office colleagues) attended ABS-CBN’s ‘Galaw, Galaw sa Tag-Araw’, a special gathering of Kapamilya’s advertisers intended to showcase their newest Primetime Bida offering.  The star-studded event engaged Kapamilya’s guests on their current and upcoming teleseryes.
